会议背景介绍： ICWAPR’07 is the fifth of a series of the formerly international conferences on wavelet theory and applications (ICWAA). The first four conferences were held in, respectively, Guangzhou (1999), Hong Kong (2001), Chongqing (2003), and Macau (2005). ICWAPR'07 will be held on 2-4 November, 2007, at the University of Science and Technology, Beijing, China. The objective of the conference is to bring together researchers working on mathematical theory and engineering, specifically, wavelet analysis and pattern recognition, to explore the synergy between the two. This conference is built on the success of the ICWAAs and takes a new initiative by providing focused research forums led by experts in selected fields such as Biometrics and new developments of wavelets. The conference offers opportunity for selected works to be published first in the conference proceedings and later in special issue of journals.

会议论文集是 EI 检索的，如果收录到那两个期刊上才是 SCI 检索的。另外，投稿截止日期延长至 6月15日

估计刚刚相反，是投稿的人太多，而且那个 IEEE eXpress 系统很麻烦，如果自己生成 pdf，则大多数不通过 IEEE compatible 的检测，如果上传源文件在那边生成 pdf，则由于需要人工干预、且每天只有凌晨0点到早上7点左右才有技术员干活帮你生成pdf，其余时间只能白等，所以我搞了几天才搞定
